    What is Your Path? Druid
About Me I am a Pagan Mystic and very open and proud of it. I am known by two names in the Pagan community, Stiainín and 'willingwin. I study various earth centered paths such as Shamanism, Druidism, Native American and Celtic Spirituality. I am a natural Empath and Precog, I communicate with animals and nature, I can see auras and am a master of "silent" meditation. I keep a Book of Shadows for my spiritual studies, although I do not consider myself a Witch yet. I am very dedicated to fighting the fear of Pagans that the media and religious ignorance places upon people. I've recently began to study Tarot and "walking" meditation so if you have any helpful information please feel free to share. I approach life with a relaxed, open attitude. I am sociable, spirited, collected and honest. I adapt to most situations quite easily and am a very open person. I feel the most important people to me are those that are closest to me. I do not wish to have control as I would not want to be controlled by others just the same. Less control equals more freedom in my eyes. I place family first, my country second, and the rest of the world third. This is not necessarily because I am selfish, but just realistic and like to deal with things that are familiar. I believe community is important as the Celts did. I want to help all those I can but I realize not all deserve it. I have a sense of hospitality, a genuine Celtic trait even in these days. I am interested in people either up close or from the shadows. I feel everyone deserves a chance, but I know the possibility that some will betray or hurt me and I have no guilt casting them out of my life. I measure people by their personality not by their affiliation, race, nationality, gender, etc. The quality of the soul is what is more important. I believe in fairness, freedom, and precautions. I follow the golden rule firmly and I know the reality of eat or be eaten. The Celtic people knew their freedom and culture depended on their warriors. I realize this as well and have respect for those that defend me and my freedom without even knowing me. Family means those related by blood, marriage, and friendship to me. I have a great respect and responsibility to nature, and I am bonded to it. I believe there's more to life spiritually than most mainstream religions. Settling for life then death isn't satisfying enough and I have a hard time buying in to it all. I have a love for life, food, family, and fun. I have Celtic blood in my veins and just have common sense!

A Better Understanding Of The Three Fold Law

    Sunday, March 25, 2007, 10:43 AM [General]

Finally an interpretation I can wrap my mind around! I never TRULY understood the Three Fold Law until I read this today. . .

Every action affects us on three levels: mind, body and spirit. This is known as the Threefold Law, or sometimes as the Law Of Return. Every action that we perform manifests an emotion. Emotion causes a change in our body chemistry, and so this results in a physical change. This change influences the way we feel, which affects our spirit. Through one single act our mind, body and spirit is affected.

    Tarot

    Sunday, March 25, 2007, 10:29 AM [General]

It's deffinately (sp?) true what they say about tarot cards, wait to buy a deck that truly calls to you. I'd wanted to start studying tarot for a long while now but I'd always heard that it's best to wait to buy a deck that truly calls to you. So I waited, and waited, and waited. Until finally one day I was in a book store, not even thinking about tarot but when I walked passed the isle I just happened to glance at the tarot shelf and my eyes went right to the deck I would soon call mine. Something pulled me to it and I had to have that deck. I thought "this is it, the one I'm supposed to have". Of course as luck would have it I couldn't afford it, lol. So I had to wait some more. Then, my loving partner, being the wonderful man he is, bought it for me. I was bouncing like a little school girl. Yesterday I opened the box for the first time. The first thing I did was cleans the cards and then immediately began reading the book. I went through each card one by one, studying it before reading it's teachings from the book. The cards spoke so loudly that I could have placed the book aside because as I studied each one I knew it's meaning before reading. As the night drew to a close and my partner arrived home from work I placed the cards into their pouch and back into the box, along with the book. This evening I plan on picking up where I left off, reading about each card's alignment.

If you decide that tarot is something you want to study, I whole heartedly agree with the saying "wait to buy a deck that truly calls to you".
